The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed pass-rusher Josh Allen to a massive contract extension, retaining their original draft pick in Duval for the next five years.
Allen entered the league as the seventh overall choice in the 2019 NFL Draft, earning more than most other rookies.

Allen received $33,674,951 in salary, signing bonuses, and incentives throughout the course of his rookie deal (2019-2023). Of course, taxes deducted a portion of that, but it was a promising start for the former Kentucky Wildcat.
Once his rookie contract ran out, the Jaguars placed the franchise tag on Allen, which would have locked him into a $24 million salary for the 2024 season. Instead, Allen will now be making approximately $30 million per season ($150 million over five years in total).
Allen also makes some money on the side through endorsements, including Smoothie King.
