Jobe Bellingham Sunderland wages, contract, and price tag with Chelsea and Spurs keen

Jobe Bellingham, a Sunderland starlet, is attracting interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

Following a well-documented £3 million move from Birmingham City last summer, Bellingham is really starting to shine for Sunderland.
The 18-year-old currently has seven goals in 41 Championship appearances for the Black Cats.

He’s been a consistent member of the club throughout the season, playing in a variety of positions, but it appears that Mike Dodds is starting to like Bellingham as a No. 9.

At the conclusion of last year, it was reported that Chelsea and Tottenham were keeping an eye on Bellingham.

Lazio was then linked in January, and the Italian club has been linked again recently as we approach the summer transfer season.

Sunderland’s wages
Sunderland maintains a rigid wage structure.
According to Salary Sport, Bradley Dack is the club’s highest-paid player, earning £18,000 per week, while Bellingham reportedly earns £8,100 per week.

According to the same source, Lazio pays striker Ciro Immobile £122,000 a week, so Bellingham’s wages may not be an issue.

Jobe Bellingham Sunderland contract.
Sunderland are proving to be astute contract negotiators, frequently extending players’ contracts far before they expire.

Aji Alese is the latest player to extend his contract with the club, which was set to expire at the conclusion of next season.

Bellingham’s official contract term has never been released.

The club merely claimed that Bellingham signed a long-term contract when he joined from Birmingham City, but widespread reports before to his arrival indicated that he was likely to sign a four-year contract at the Stadium of Light, keeping him under contract until 2027.

Jobe Bellingham Transfer Value
Sunderland has yet to place a price tag on Bellingham, indicating that the club is not interested in selling just yet.

However, stars such as Anthony Patterson and Jack Clarke are expected to cost at least £20 million this summer.

Bellingham has less than half the experience of the duo and is a few years younger, so his actual transfer worth may be about £10 million, or even less.

If Real Madrid wants to sign him and reunite him with his brother Jude, his worth may jump because Madrid sees it as more of a publicity stunt than a deal.

According to Transfermarkt, Bellingham is worth £7.7 million.

Jobe Bellingham to Lazio Analysis
Lazio appear to be just one of the clubs interested in Bellingham right now.

Chelsea and Spurs appear to have expressed an interest in the past, but Lazio appears to be the most interested team right now.

There have been rumors that Real Madrid is interested, but how realistic this is still to be seen.

And the interest is a testament to Bellingham’s successful first season at Sunderland, as well as the Black Cats’ transfer market savvy.

He’s got some criticism. There is certainly space for development, but this season and the exposure that Bellingham has received will undoubtedly benefit him in the long run.

He’s gained a lot of experience this season, and his seven goals are probably more than many people expected.

However, being on a long-term contract and still being so young and fresh in the game, it feels like a huge transfer move this coming summer would

It’s way too soon for Bellingham.
He may not even know what his finest position is yet, demonstrating how much development and nurturing still to be done.

However, it cannot be denied that if Sunderland receives a suitable offer for Bellingham in the summer, regardless of the price, they will listen.

It all relies on Lazio and any other team that may be interested.

However, Bellingham’s departure this summer does not appear to be a very realistic scenario.
