LATEST NEWS : Wolves are now considering Barcelona starlet deal this summer

Barcelona is apparently considering permanently releasing Ansu Fati.

The teenage striker, who was anticipated to become one of Barcelona’s top forwards when he was promoted to the senior first squad in 2020, has struggled to live up to expectations.
Fati, 21, joined forces with Roberto De Zerbi last summer after falling out of favour and was forced to accept a loan transfer to Brighton and Hove Albion in order to gain more regular minutes.

Despite an injury-plagued season, the 21-year-old has performed admirably when he has been able to play. With four goals and one assist in his first 24 appearances across all competitions, the young Spaniard appears to have proven himself capable of functioning in the typically fast-paced and physical Premier League.

However, despite his good performances, according to a recent Fichajes report, Barcelona is unlikely to reinstall the 21-year-old in their first-team plans and may want to offload him once the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.

Wolves connected with a summer deal for Ansu Fati.
It remains to be seen whether Tony Bloom’s Brighton would pursue a permanent deal, but another side has been connected.

Fichajes believes Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in the on-loan 21-year-old and could utilize Jorge Mendes’ connections and influence to persuade the winger to relocate to Molineux.

Gary O’Neil is having a successful debut season in command of Wolves, who are now 11th in the table with 42 points and seven games to play.

The Midlands giants, almost certain to avoid relegation, will be preparing for next season in England’s top flight and may attempt to bring in some talent to match their ambitious objectives.
