Nathan Jones, the manager of Charlton Athletic, has revealed that Rarmani Edmonds-Green has recently been playing with an Achilles injury.
Charlton Athletic left the defender out of their most recent League One match against Wigan Athletic.
Edmonds-Green, 25, joined The Valley during the January transfer window from Huddersfield Town.

Jones has provided an update on his status, according to the official club website: “To be fair to him, he’s been playing through a small stiffness in his Achilles, which has limited his activity.

“I choose a team and a bench that I believe will win us a game.” There’s a big squad here now, so I have to make a lot of tough decisions, not just for the team but also for the bench.”

Latest injury update for Charlton Athletic: Edmonds.Charlton signed Green this winter to bolster their defensive department.
Terell Thomas, Macaulay Gillesphey, and Michael Hector will all compete for a spot in the starting XI.
So far, the Yorkshireman has appeared 14 times for the Addicks in all competitions.

Prior to his move to London, he spent his whole career with Huddersfield, rising through the Championship club’s academy divisions.

He made 55 appearances for their first squad and scored three goals from the back.

To gain experience away from the John Smith’s Stadium, Edmonds-Green went on loan to Brighouse Town, Bromley, Swindon Town, Rotherham United, and Wigan.

He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Charlton when he joined the club a few months ago.

The Addicks have been in good form since former Stoke City and Southampton boss Jones took over from Michael Appleton, and he has guided them out of difficulty.

They still have three games left this season against Cambridge United, Shrewsbury Town, and Wycombe Wanderers, and they want to finish strong.

Charlton is ranked 15th in the table, with 51 points.

Edmonds-Green will get more minutes in their final few matches, which will assist him improve his fitness levels.
