Fábio Carvalho, a Liverpool midfielder, is garnering interest from Italy after impressing while on loan at Hull City, claims Fabrizio Romano.

Carvalho joined Liverpool for £7.7 million from Fulham in 2022, but he has struggled to break through at Anfield and has been loaned out this season in order to get regular first-team football.

The Portugal U21 international has been at Championship club Hull City since January, scoring eight goals in 16 appearances. Carvalho had spent time on loan at RB Leipzig earlier this season, although this was cut short owing to a lack of playing time.

According to Romano, Liverpool is pleased with Carvalho’s growth; yet, several Italian clubs and others in Europe are keeping an eye on the midfielder.

His future at Liverpool is presently unknown, as manager Jurgen Klopp departs the Premier League giants at the conclusion of the season. Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim has been widely connected to the coaching position, but whomever succeeds Klopp will most likely have to make a choice on the player this summer.
