Georgia Reportedly close to announcing the signing of a new Receiver on the Transfer Portal.

Former Penn State receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith is on the Transfer Portal, and various reports indicate that the Bulldogs have been in contact with the quick wideout.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have used the Transfer Portal to sign several good receivers in recent seasons. According to various sources, they are attempting to do it again. According to Brian Dohn of 247 and Pete Nakos of On3, Georgia has been in contact with portal receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith, who spent the previous four seasons at Penn State.

Lambert-Smith led the team in receptions and receiving yards last season and, according to the school, is the first receiver in school history to have made multiple 80-yard receptions. Any club would benefit greatly from adding the 6-foot-1 wideout.

The Bulldogs have exploited the gateway effectively over the last two seasons, snagging four good wideouts. They signed Rara Thomas and Dominic Lovett via the portal a few offseasons back. This past summer, they signed former Vanderbilt receiver London Humphreys and Miami wideout Colbie Young. All four will be significant parts of Georgia’s offense in 2024.

So far today, Georgia has lost three players to the portal. You may follow along.
