“I’m going back to Wolves” – Fitness boost as fantastic star prepares to return following injury

That is not something we can say often, given the Wolves player’s recent injury history. There aren’t many people who have had to deal with Kalajdzic’s recent defeats in football, and there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel.

The forward is expected to return to the Premier League club after deciding to spend part of his recovery in Salzburg, mainly to avoid seeing other footballers go to games and be able to participate.

He spoke openly with Salzburger Nachrichten about his status and decisions, as well as his future goals.

Unfortunately, despite being able to resume some training, the Wolves player will be unable to compete in Euro 2024 against Austria.

Kalajdzic explained why he was in Salzburg, saying: “The new injury was a big blow that came out of nowhere.” I just wanted to be away from everything. Our team doctor in Frankfurt gave me the opportunity to complete the first part of rehabilitation in Salzburg. This means I’m not too far from home while being in a professional setting where I can unwind and work effectively.

“After getting away from everything in Salzburg, I didn’t suffer as much. It helped that I was able to spend quality time with my wife and our newborn kid.”
Regarding his current circumstances, the footballer stated: “After six weeks in Salzburg, I’m returning to Wolverhampton.” Unfortunately, I will be unable to become fit before the conclusion of my loan term in the summer. That is why I want to finish my recuperation in England and attack again in Wolverhampton. I had excellent support from all sides, which was quite beneficial to me over the first few weeks.”

When asked when he’d be able to play competitively again, he replied, “As soon as possible. But only when I’m fully fit again. Giving a date does not help. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the European Championships.

Perhaps Sasa Kalajdzic will return to Wolves at the start of next season.
