The teenage forward is poised to leave Leicester this summer when his contract expires.
Brentford and QPR are both looking to recruit Leicester academy attacker Amani Richards.
The 19-year-old’s contract at the King Power Stadium expires this summer and he will be available for free transfer.
Richards, who was born in London and can play as a striker or on the right wing, might return to the capital after graduating from Chelsea’s academy and moving on to Arsenal and Leicester.
Sunderland and teams in Germany, Belgium, and Denmark are all interested in his services.
Richards is highly respected, having won the Leicester academy player of the season award in 2023 after scoring more than 20 goals across all competitions.
Leicester’s attempts to renew his contract have been thwarted by his desire to play adult football.
Richards has started less youth games as his contract ends, but he has the greatest goal involvement in the Leicester Under-21s squad. Leicester City are still interested in renewing his contract after stealing him from Arsenal in 2022.
The Foxes won the Championship title on Monday, defeating Preston 3-0 to regain promotion to the Premier League.
However, after losing midfielder Trey Nyoni to Liverpool last summer, they will want to keep a strong academy team at their newly renovated training facility.
