Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has confirmed his full retained and released list following the end of the 2023/24 season.
With a big summer renovation in the works, the headlining news is that at least 16 players will leave AESSEAL New York Stadium this summer.
Following the final match of the season, the Millers manager quickly confirmed his retained list after talking with the whole first-team squad about their futures.
Evans stated that conversations have begun with Jamie Lindsay, who was expected to be released this summer, and that an option has been invoked to extend the contract of young pro Ciaran McGuckin for another year.
Meanwhile, 11 senior pros, including Sean Morrison, Lee Peltier, and Shane Ferguson, will leave the club when their present contracts expire.
Evans has also suggested that the club will consider bids for two players under contract for the 2024/25 season, Jamie McCart and Josh Kayode, who have been made available for immediate transfer.
