LATEST UPDATE: Wigan Warriors make appeal decision after bans of two important players.

The pair will miss Sunday’s Super League match against Salford Red Devils after receiving one-match bans following their Challenge Cup semi-final victory over Hull KR.

The match review panel charged Ellis, a loose forward, with Grade B dangerous contact. Walters, who made his debut from the bench in the semi-final triumph over Doncaster, was also given a one-game suspension for a Grade B head contact penalty.

Both instances were determined to be on the higher end of the spectrum.
