Wolves won just one of their last ten league games and finished with 49 points, the club’s third-lowest total since returning to the top division. Injuries severely limited the squad, and key choices went against Wolves.

There were some encouraging indicators over the previous season, but O’Neil now needs to be given the means to take this team to the next level.
Many fans are skeptical that Fosun will provide significant support for O’Neil, as they and Jeff Shi appear to be more interested with rising season ticket costs.
But perhaps, manager and sporting director Matt Hobbs will be able to work their magic this season and set the squad up for success.
O’Neil will undoubtedly work his socks off to make this happen. If there is one thing that has been clear since he arrived at Molineux, it is that he has an incredible work ethic, which was highlighted once more over the weekend in a wonderful Instagram post.
O’Neil is presently on holiday with his family, but the 41-year-old made it clear to supporters that he is still keeping an eye on Wolves.
