Portsmouth has confirmed the departure of another brilliant star on a two-year contract.

Rotherham United have secured their fifth acquisition of the summer, signing Portsmouth defender Sean Raggett on a two-year deal.

In 2023-24, the 31-year-old made 44 appearances across all competitions for Pompey, helping them win League One.

Raggett previously had a loan spell with the Millers in 2018/19.

He is the club’s second signing from Portsmouth this month, following fellow defender Joe Rafferty. Sheffield Wednesday defender Reece James, Northampton midfielder Shane McWilliams, and Peterborough striker Jonson Clarke-Harris have also joined.
