BREAKING NEWS : Wolves fans have now sent a seriously big message to Jeff Shi, after disgraceful season ticket price

Wolves fans were outraged earlier this week when season ticket renewal costs were drastically raised, and they have now banded together to send a strong message to Fosun and Jeff Shi.

Just days after Wolves secured their 14th-place finish in the Premier League, fans were shocked to learn how much it would cost to renew their season tickets for next season.
According to the E&S, many fans had a 17% increase, while some children’s tickets increased by up to 176%.

The common perception is that the rises are absolutely unjustifiable, considering the club’s stagnation, lack of investment by the owners, and the current cost of living problem.

Many have condemned the season ticket price increase as tone-deaf, believing it will drive away the most faithful Wolves fans.

Since Thursday’s revelation of season ticket rates, the fans has been active, and many have now come together to send a big message to chairman Jeff Shi.

Wolves’ petition to Jeff Shi against season ticket price increases is poised to reach 10,000 signatures For a long time, there hasn’t been such outrage against Wolves.

The team has had some difficult times in recent years, unable to live up to its first few seasons back in the Premier League.

But there was always excellent help. Wolves fans have always given their all for the team, no matter how terrible things became. Whether in the stands at Molineux or from afar.

That is why the decision to drastically boost season ticket prices has been so poorly received. Many supporters consider it a slap in the face, given their commitment during difficult times.

And many just don’t feel the raises are warranted, and some dislike the notion the club has based their new rates on those of others. Many clubs are based in London.
So, with many people feeling strongly about this, a petition is already circulating, urging chairman Jeff Shi to’reconsider the approach to ticket prices before irrevocable damage is done to the fanbase and the local community’.
This was initiated by Old Gold Pack and has been live since Friday. As of Sunday evening, the petition had 8760 signatories. It won’t be long before the aim of 10,000 signatures is met.

The fandom has reacted strongly to the season ticket price increases, and it is wonderful to see everyone coming together on this issue.

It is a truly horrible choice that must be revisited immediately.

It would be astounding if Molineux’s decision-makers believed they could get away with doing this without receiving the kind of reaction they have. If they truly believed there would be no blowback, it is both arrogant and demeaning to the supporters.

However, the outpouring of support for the petition is quite heartening, and perhaps Shi, Fosun, and whoever else is involved will hear the message clearly.

We’ve seen what fans can do in football. The projected Super League’s failure a few years ago is an excellent illustration. This is on a lesser scale, as it just involves one club. However, it is just as unpleasant to Wolves supporters as it was before, and plainly, some are prepared to oppose the decision.
