Matheus Cunha has given a fresh interview, and many Wolves fans will welcome his views ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian has just completed a full season in English football, and he made an impression at Molineux. He concluded the season with 14 goals and eight assists, and he was clearly one of the most significant players on the club under Gary O’Neil.
Cunha, 25, responded incredibly well to O’Neil’s arrival, despite originally being concerned when Julen Lopetegui departed the club.
He was in excellent form throughout 2023/24, and fans are expecting that he would repeat his performance next season while avoiding injuries.
The summer transfer window is ready to open and happily for Wolves fans, there actually hasn’t been too much buzz about Cunha yet, despite his great season. Supporters will appreciate statements he made in a recent interview with E&S.

And it appears that Cunha will do it while wearing a Wolves shirt.
The footballer has been discussing his life at Wolves, and it is evident that he is extremely content where he is right now.
He told the E&S: “I am very delighted to be here and for the future with Wolves. I am happy, which is the most essential thing to me.
“I have went through moments that I do not want to repeat. Moments when I don’t want to play football make me feel terrible. Now I’m extremely glad, and you want to do your best.
“I’m really looking forward to Wolves. Perhaps we can show that we are not a team.
relegated to the Championship. Maybe we can show we are a team that can go for Europe. I hope so. We never know the future, but I hope so.
“We can show everyone the potential that we have.” Wolves fans will most certainly enjoy Cunha’s comments, as he is definitely in a happy mood right now.
The £44 million signing was a key player for Wolves in 2023/24, and he has the potential to improve even more under O’Neil, whom he praised highly in his interview.
