DONE DEAL : Blackburn Rovers have agreed a deal to sign another 18 years old fantastic winger

Blackburn Rovers have agreed to acquire Linfield winger Aodhan Doherty, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
Blackburn Rovers have reached an agreement to sign the teenager this summer as they prepare for another season in the Championship. They secured their place as a second-tier team last season under former Birmingham City manager John Eustace, and they are now looking for new players to enhance their ranks.

Doherty, 18, is highly regarded by his current club, and they are about to lose him to England, which is a loss for them. He is touted for a bright career in the game and has gained the attention of the NIFL Premiership.

Blackburn Rovers may consider him as a long-term possibility who can eventually be integrated into their first-team setup.

He is under contract until June 2026, but they are preparing to cash in on him immediately.

According to BelfastLive, Doherty was connected with West Ham, Everton, and Brighton and Hove Albion this winter, but he ultimately stayed in January.

What’s next for Blackburn Rovers?
Blackburn Rovers have the opportunity to bring in several new players over the next few months. Jay Haddow, Jared Harlock, Ethan Walker, and Charlie Weston have all been released.

They were too near to the drop zone for comfort last season and will aim to compete further up the table the following time around.

Eustace is preparing for his first full year in leadership, and he is eager to demonstrate his abilities.

Doherty is unlikely to break into their starting XI right away, but he is someone to keep an eye on.
