BREAKING : Luton Town key player given green light to leave on loan for a sixth time

Dion Pereira, a Luton Town attacker, has returned to Dagenham and Redbridge on loan for the 2024/25 season, according to the club’s official website.
Luton Town have allowed the winger to return to the National League side on a temporary basis. He played the second half of the season with the Daggers, scoring three goals in 17 games across all competitions.
Pereira, 25, received plenty of playing time with the fifth-tier club and seemed to enjoy himself. He is set to return to Kenilworth Road in May 2025 and will be eager to help his loan team flourish next season.

Luton Town signed Pereira in 2020, although he has only appeared in three games for the Bedfordshire club thus far.

He has been loaned out six times since joining his parent club. The Antigua and Barbuda international, who has four caps in his career, was originally given permission to go when Yeovil Town approached him in 2021.

He later spent two stints with Bradford City, scoring two goals in 28 games.

Last summer, he was signed by Sutton United, where he appeared in 17 games and scored two goals.

Pereira then went into non-league this winter, but he was a hit with Dagenham and will now return for another term.
Career so far

The attacker began his career at Watford and progressed through the local club’s academy ranks.

He was a regular with the Hornets at several junior levels before making two first-team appearances as a teenager.

Pereira moved to America in 2019 and joined Atlanta United in MLS for a couple of years before being tempted by Luton Town He returned to England.
