According to The Athletic, Wrexham remain interested in signing Jamie Lindsay and are keeping a ‘watch’ on his status following his departure from Rotherham United.
Wrexham are looking for fresh additions after being promoted from League Two last season. They moved up to League One alongside Stockport County, Mansfield Town, and Crawley Town. Lindsay, 28, departed Rotherham United this summer after being relegated from the Championship. His contract expires at the end of this month, and he will be a free agent.

Lindsay might help Wrexham’s midfield options. Luke Young’s departure has left a gap in that area.
According to the RRR Podcast, they were connected to him throughout the winter as they sought promotion from League Two. He did not end up moving to the Racecourse Ground during the January transfer window.
Lindsay joined Rotherham United in 2019, and he has since served the Yorkshire club admirably.
He has made 156 appearances across all competitions for them and scored eight goals. Under former manager Paul Warne, the former Scotland youth international helped them rise from the third tier twice.
Prior to moving to England, he was on the books at Motherwell before joining Celtic as a kid. Lindsay never featured for the Hoops’ first team, but he did have loan spells at Dumbarton, Greenock Morton, and Ross County to gain experience before joining the latter permanently.
In 48 matches, he scored nine goals.
