Swansea City captain Matt Grimes is one of several players who have already returned to the training facility ahead of the new season.
Grimes, 28, was joined by fellow long-serving midfielder Jay Fulton in returning to the club’s Fairwood headquarters.
It’s part of a mid-summer ‘check-in’ organised by manager Luke Williams, who was also back in training gear, overseeing some ball work with a few of his team members.
In an external social media post by the club, players are seen going through fitness and medical tests, as well as some light drills, consistent with Williams’ desire to keep players and staff informed of any issues.
More players will be due in for their off-season checks before Williams.
The first pre-season in charge began on July 1.
