“I’m 200% ready” – Wolves player insists he has no physical issues and is now fully fit

Pedro Neto of Wolverhampton Wanderers has stated that he is fully healthy and ready to represent Portugal at Euro 2024 this summer.
The forward has been addressing at a news conference today, as recounted by O Jogo, and insists he is ready to join Roberto Martinez’s club.

Neto has had another disappointing season at Wolves due to injury, playing only 44% of the Premier League’s available minutes and making only 20 appearances.

He has frequently been the standout for Wolves when completely healthy, but getting him to that point has proven tough in recent years.

This season alone, he has missed 19 games for Wolves due to hamstring ailments, spending 58 and then 67 days on the treatment table.

in two separate spells. They came after an ankle injury in 2022/23, which caused him to miss the majority of the season and spend 127 days in treatment, and a knee injury in 2020/21, which kept him out for 297 days and 52 games for Wolves and Portugal.
Injury difficulties have been a continual source of concern for him and Wolves, but he insists that they are all behind him as he prepares for Euro 2024.

“I think injuries, for any player, are always difficult,” he stated.

“Unfortunately, these were my first two muscular injuries. Above all, I believe this was a wonderful season for me. Everything turned out well.

“I could have done better, but I believe each season is unique; sometimes it’s more challenging, sometimes easier. I believe I am uniquely qualified to assist, and I am eager to do so.

“Hope is always present; things were going great for me at the club. Obviously, dealing with injuries was difficult, but I contributed numerous assists and goals.

“I felt great in the last game, fresh. After some time off, I’m at 200%, and this game was excellent for gaining rhythm. “I’m completely prepared to face the European Championship.”
