BREAKING : Leeds United in race to sign Swansea City 22 years old potential target

Leeds United is one of several clubs interested in Couhaib Driouech, according to Voetbal Zone (via Sport Witness).
Leeds United are expecting to make great advances in the summer window as they prepare for another promotion drive. The Whites just missed out on automatic promotion by finishing third, and the Yorkshire club’s heartache was compounded when they lost in the play-off final last month. Daniel Farke stays in command of Leeds United, and this time he hopes to clinch an automatic promotion spot rather than relying on the play-offs.

Driouech has recently been linked with a move to Leeds United. Excelsior’s youthful winger appeared in 26 Eredivisie games last season, scoring six goals and assisting six others.

Swansea City previously sought the Dutch-born Moroccan youth international in the Championship.

According to recent sources, Leeds United are interested in signing the winger. The Whites are joined by numerous other teams, including top-tier clubs PSV and Sevilla.

Meeting the asking price.
According to the report, Excelsior are looking for a compensation between €3.5 million and €4 million for their 22-year-old player this summer.

It’s unclear whether any of the interested parties are willing to meet that demand, but the child is undeniably talented.

Leeds United may struggle to compete with clubs such as Sevilla, which can provide top-tier football and the chance of European play, but the Whites may be able to entice Driouech with game time.

An great replacement.
This summer, there has been speculation that Leeds United will lose a few key players. Summerville is one player who has been extensively linked with a transfer to the Premier League. Despite reports saying he is pleased to stay at Elland Road, if he leaves, it will open a gap out.

Red Bull’s recent investment suggests they may be able to retain more than they previously expected, but if they lose any of their depth in wide areas, Driouech would be a wise signing to come in and fill that gap.

The youngster is a dynamic winger who still has potential to grow. He demonstrated last season that he can produce goals and assists at a high level in the Netherlands, and he should be able to enter the Championship and immediately make an impact.

The asking price is also reasonable, which may appeal to Leeds United, who may need to be strategic with their spending during this transfer window.
