Former Reading FC striker Adam Le Fondre is looking for a new club after being released by Scottish team Hibernian.
The 37-year-old scored five goals in 23 appearances for Hibernian but is now a free agent after his contract expired.
The forward had a fantastic three-year stay with Reading, where he quickly became a fan favourite. Reading paid roughly £350,000 to buy Le Fondre from Rotherham in 2011, after he established himself as an EFL goalscorer.
In his debut season, Brian McDermott’s side won the Championship, and Le Fondre contributed 12 league goals, including a historic double against promotion rivals Southampton. 3–1 victory. He later scored 12 times in 34 Premier League games, being known as a’super sub’ for McDermott’s team.
