BREAKING NEWS : Swansea city are now pushing hard to sign premier league key midfielder

According to reports this morning, Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin is a target for the Swans this summer, however Portsmouth would also like to bring him back to Fratton Park for a second season.

Anjorin played last season on loan at the South Coast club, which won League One and qualified for the Championship for the first time in eleven years.

The rumor suggests that they are keen to gain a return for the player, but it has also been stated that he is a target for the Swans, but it should be noted that neither club has made an approach for the player at this time.

Last season was a tough one for the midfielder, who missed five months due to a hamstring injury incurred against Chesterfield in the FA Cup. Upon his return to the club in April, he stated, “It was frustrating because it just seemed to happen out of nowhere, but that’s football.”I’d never done my hamstring before, so I wasn’t entirely sure what had happened; nonetheless, I knew it wasn’t good.

“This group of men deserved to be where we are, and we’ve demonstrated how talented we are, so the fact that I was missing out was disappointing.

“Doing all that graft again was difficult, but there’s not much you can do about it, except pray and try to recover.”

“I felt wanted here and was very comfortable with all of the lads, staff, and supporters.” I was just getting back to my previous levels, and now I need to rebuild.

“But I’m so grateful to Pompey for letting me return, play football and experience the last part of this season.”

Last season’s loan at Fratton Park after two short-term loan spells at Huddersfield in 2022 and two months in Moscow the previous year. At the age of 22, he has only 13 league starts and 21 substitute appearances, including one in the Premier League for Chelsea against Everton in 2020.

“In the future, I want to win everything,” he remarked shortly after his cameo off the bench. “I want people to say I’m a technical player, skilful, good shooting ability, powerful, dominant.”

But for the time being, it’s about balancing the need to show himself with patience. “I just need to keep working,” he explains. And when will the next opportunity come? “I want to try and make a statement to Frank, Jody and Joe, and show I belong there.”

His Chelsea career has obviously stalled since that moment, and while he was unfortunate with injury last season, his record is not complete, and it instantly feels like the Swans would not make any move here, with the links likely to be agent-driven.

to generate interest in a transfer.

Personally, I’m filing this one under “not going to happen” and moving on.
