Iowa City, Iowa (KCRG) – Jan Jensen, head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team, announced two coaching hires on Wednesday.
Randi Henderson will be an assistant coach, while Sean Sullivan will act as both an assistant coach and general manager.
Henderson had spent the previous seven seasons as head basketball coach at WashU in St. Louis. She previously served as head coach at Coe College for nine years, from 2006 to 2015.
Henderson, a Cedar Falls native, attended the University of Iowa, where she was a three-year starter and team captain on the women’s basketball team.
Sullivan, a University of Iowa graduate, was previously the director of player personnel, development, and recruitment at North Carolina. He will also serve as an assistant coach for the Tar Heels beginning in June 2023. He participated in the program for three years.
