BREAKING NEWS : Wolves beat West Ham to sensational striker but it can only be good news

Wolverhampton Wanderers have beaten West Ham to a fantastic striker acquisition, which can only be a positive thing.

When Julen Lopetegui left Wolves on the eve of last season, it was due to broken promises regarding transfers and ambition. Almost a year ago, Lopetegui took over at West Ham to supervise a significant team overhaul.

West Ham will not want to leave the Spaniard disappointed about transfers.

Especially if the 57-year-old’s previous club, Wolverhampton Wanderers, is creating the frustration.

Several players have recently been linked with transfers to West Ham and Wolves.

The Hammers and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been connected with several mutual transfer targets.

That may not be surprising, since Lopetegui will have indicated a number of players he wanted to the Wolves board before walking out last August. One such shared aim is Norwegian striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Lopetegui and West Ham technical director Tim Steidten are said to be following the very talented teenage 6ft 4in forward closely.

Journalist Victor Lopez recently reported that West Ham had made an offer to sign Celta Vigo striker Strand Larsen.

However, Wolves have also been connected with the 24-year-old.
