When is the MLB All-Star Game voting schedule?
The 2024 MLB All-Star Game voting period started on June 5 and ends on July 3.
First Phase: June 5–27
Fan voting is part of Phase 1. Voting is open to fans who wish to see pitchers stay in the minor leagues and players from the American and National leagues start at each position. Three players will be chosen by fans for the outfield. Up to five votes may be cast by fans per day until June 27 at noon ET. An automatic starter will be selected from among each league’s top vote-getters overall.
Phase 2: 30 June – 3 July
The top two vote-getters at each position (or the top six among outfielders) from Phase 1 are up for grabs in Phase 2. On July 3, voting ends at noon ET.

Voting is available to fans at all 30 MLB ballparks, on MLB.com, and via the MLB mobile app.
What is the number of players on an MLB All-Star team?
There are 32 players on each All-Star squad: 12 pitchers and 20 position players. The eight starting players are chosen by the fans. Pitchers and bench players are chosen by the commissioner’s office and player ballots.
