He also extended his advantage for the night by winning the Goal of the Year Award for his spectacular strike against Freiburg in the 2023/2024 Europa League. The goal also won the UEFA Europa League Goal of the Season 2023/24 award. In light of this, Kudus took to his Instagram and X pages to post wonderful photos from that night, along with a poignant comment. In the caption, he stated that the marathon would continue and that he was honored and happy that such a prominent awards scheme had recognized his efforts.
