BREAKING NEWS : West Brom have reached an agreement with an experienced 33 years old defender

West Brom have reached an agreement with an experienced defender beyond the weekend’s contractual deadline.
Kyle Bartley, West Bromwich Albion’s centre-back, has signed a one-year deal that will keep him at The Hawthorns until June 2025.

The former Swansea City, Sheffield United, and Leeds United player has agreed to add a condition in his new contract that allows his stay to be extended by another 12 months if he makes a particular number of games. Bartley was scheduled to leave West Brom on Sunday, but talks to extend his stay went well.

Responding to putting pen to paper, Bartley told West Brom’s website: “I’ve been at the Albion for six years and I really enjoy being here. We had a really good season last year and I really believe we can build on that under the manager this term. “The manager has trusted me to play the bulk of matches since he joined the club and that’s something I’m incredibly grateful for. I’m motivated to keep playing at my top possible level and I’m convinced I can achieve that in the future campaign.
