DONE DEAL : Notts County confirmed the departure of another key player

Millwall are nearing a deal to capture Notts County’s prolific scorer Macaulay Langstaff.

The 27-year-old has been a target for the Lions all summer, and he now appears to be the League Two Golden Boot winner from last season.

Langstaff agreed to a new contract with the League Two club until 2027 in August and was named captain on June 10. However, the former Gateshead striker appears set to play Championship football for the first time in his career.

Millwall has only two senior strikers: Tom Bradshaw and Kevin Nisbet. Japhet Tanganga is also scheduled for a physical with the Lions ahead of a permanent move.
