Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly interested in signing Ferdi Kadıoğlu from Fenerbahçe this summer. The Turkey international thrived for his club previous season and will continue to perform well for his country at Euro 2024.
Milat Gazetesi stated last Tuesday that numerous teams have been keeping a close eye on the left-back’s performances for his country. It was also said that the Istanbul side will not sell him for less than €35 million.
West Ham United, Fulham, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are among the clubs that have sent representatives to watch him at the Euros. Brighton has gone an extra step to try to sign him.
Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu said on Twitter that the Seagulls have made ‘formal contact’ with the defender’s camp. They did this to inquire about his condition with the Yellow Canaries.
Transfermarket presently values Kadıoğlu at €21 million, with two years remaining on his contract. According to a previous report from Milat Gazetesi, Brighton will need to pay at least €35 million to obtain his services.
Fenerbahçe’s new manager, José Mourinho, will have a say on Kadıoğlu’s probable summer transfer.
