The Las Vegas Raiders got an encouraging injury update. According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, Kolton Miller is progressing well and should be ready for Week 1. “Miller just returned from a children’s camp in Roseville, California, and all signs point to his making significant progress in his rehabilitation. Who stepped in for Kolton Miller?
Off-season acquisition Andrus Peat stood in for Miller during OTAs and mandatory minicamp, receiving the majority of first-team reps in his place. If Miller misses any time during training camp, don’t be surprised if he continues to get first-team work.
Peat played guard for the Saints for the majority of his career until switching to left tackle last season, starting the final 11 games.
If Miller loses time during the regular season, Peat will be his replacement at LT; if Jackson Powers-Johnson misses time or struggles at LG, Peat may also fill in for him.
