Gabriel Osho confirmed his exit from Luton Town via social media Wednesday night.
With the player’s contract expiring at the end of last month, his future at Kenilworth Road appeared dubious for a while, despite the fact that he played a significant role for the Hatters during the 2023/24 season.
He played a significant role in guiding the team to the Premier League, where he had several memorable moments, scoring against Arsenal and Newcastle United.
He had some difficult moments at Kenilworth Road, but he accomplished enough to justify his stay at Luton.
It was announced in May that the Hatters were engaging in talks with Osho regarding a new deal, but the two parties were unable to find an agreement in the end and the central defender will now be an attractive centre-back option for a number of Championship teams. An agreement for Osho could be a nice idea. It’s unclear whether Chris Wilder will play a back three or a back four next season, but he’ll need to address his center-back position in the coming weeks, hopefully before the season begins.
They will have a severe shortage of choices in this area until signings are made.

When Osho arrived at Kenilworth Road, he did not immediately become a significant player.
However, he became a vital part of the Hatters’ squad, and his significant contributions will guarantee that he is remembered fondly in Bedfordshire.
It was gutsy of him to leave Reading.
During the later stages of his time at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, he played often under Mark Bowen.
However, his decision to relocate to Luton proved beneficial.
