Brighton & Hove Albion has signed midfielder Bex Rayner, subject to the customary regulatory procedures.
Zoe Johnson, managing director of women’s and girls’ football, stated, “We’re thrilled to welcome Bex to Brighton.” She was a top performer in last season’s Women’s Championship.
“She’s now looking to progress her career in the WSL, and we’re looking forward to seeing how she develops with us.” The 24-year-old, who came up through Leeds United’s system, made her WSL debut with Doncaster Belles at the age of 16. She helped the Belles win the league title in 2017/18 before joining Sheffield United the next summer.
The former England youth international then spent two spells with the Blades, making her 100th appearance in March.
