The Cleveland Browns proved to be the most resilient team during the 2023 NFL season, overcoming many critical player injuries to make the 2024 NFL Playoffs.
The Browns lost Deshaun Watson for the season due to a shoulder injury, but they were handed an even worse blow when Nick Chubb suffered a serious knee injury that required him to miss the rest of the season. Chubb was the offense’s heart and soul, as he was one of the NFL’s greatest pure runners who frequently made plays with the ball in his hands.

Fortunately, Chubb underwent successful surgery and is anticipated to return during the 2024 NFL season, though there is no urgency for the Browns.
Cleveland would certainly like to get their star running back on the field as soon as possible, but his health should be everyone’s first priority. Chubb admitted that this offseason he’s been focusing on trying to regain his form via ESPN Cleveland. “Now I’m just trying to catch up to get to the person I once was,” Chubb said In the video, Chubb is seen getting ready to do a workout and talks about how this time of the year is usually spent on gearing up for the season. This time around, though, he’s simply trying to get back to full health which certainly must be frustrating. The Browns have enough talent on the roster to make another playoff run, though getting a healthy Chubb Returning the favor would be extremely beneficial to their efforts.
