BALTIMORE (AP)— On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens agreed to a one-year contract with Eddie Jackson, a former Chicago Bears safety.
Jackson, 30, strengthens a safety corps that already includes Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams. He is expected to replace the void left by Geno Stone, who joined Cincinnati after leading the AFC with seven interceptions this season.
Jackson spent his first seven seasons with Chicago, appearing in 100 games and recording 15 interceptions and 459 tackles. He made the Pro Bowl in both 2018 and 2019.
The Bears released Jackson in February. He had been hindered by foot problems, missing 10 games over the previous two seasons.
The Ravens kick off training camp on Sunday.
