While Bruins supporters wait for news that the storied team has reached a contract agreement with goaltender Jeremy Swayman, the rookie netminder surprised a bunch of young hockey players in Maine.
Swayman spoke electronically at the University of Maine’s annual ice hockey Youth Summer Camps on Wednesday. The young hockey players chanted “Swayman!” to convey their admiration for the goaltender.
The 25-year-old Alaskan native smiled broadly and said, “Love it” to the swarm of children. He even shared the moment in an Instagram story.
