Barnsley FC has signed Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Matthew Craig on a season’s loan.
The 21-year-old joined Tottenham’s youth team in 2019 and spent the second half of last season on loan with Doncaster Rovers.
He appeared in 20 games for Rovers, including nine of their ten consecutive League Two victories that earned them a play-off place.
“It’s going extremely well so far. “I’ve looked around the ground, which is beautiful – a really good stadium,” Craig told the Tykes’ website, external.
“The people I’ve already spoken to have been quite welcoming. It has been good.”
