Wolves are willing to loan out Hugo Bueno this summer as Celtic aim to add the Spaniard to their squad. Brendan Rodgers wants to bring in a left-back to battle with Greg Taylor as Celtic seek to compete on all fronts and make a mark in Europe.
According to Football Insider, Wolves are eager to make a trade for Bueno that will provide him a clear path to development. Brendan will undoubtedly be interested in the 21-year-old, but the Wolves administration will also want to keep him to see if he can develop into their next great star.
Gary O’Neil has Rayan Ait Nouri and Matt Doherty to play in that position, limiting Bueno’s game.
time at Molineux next season. Bueno has made 49 appearances for Wolverhampton, scoring one, however he is down the pecking order behind O’Neill. The player will most certainly want to compete in the Champions League and may regard Celtic as the ideal team to help him achieve that goal. Celtic would most likely prefer a deal with a buy-in option, as it would benefit the club more than simply nurturing the potential of another team.
Celtic have only signed two players this season, goalkeepers Viljami Sinisalo and Kasper Schmeichel, but the manager aims to improve in a variety of areas. Paulo Bernardo is expected to return, and Celtic are also looking to re-sign Adam Idah.
