In recent days, the news has been getting increasingly better with Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones saying the team has offered deals to both both players. While no deal is imminent, it’s becoming clear that the Cowboys are working hard to bring both players back. Previously, reports circulated on social media that the structure for an agreement between the Cowboys and Lamb had been established, but they were disputed.
The good news is that progress appears to have been made.
The next step is to transfer ink to paper.
Lamb enjoyed his greatest professional season last year. He led the NFL in receptions with 135, totaling 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. Lamb, who also scored two rushing touchdowns, was voted first-team All-Pro and will play in his third Pro Bowl.
