The Houston Rockets have rostered their share of legends. None of them compare to Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon. He’s the best player in the franchise’s history. That isn’t controversial. Olajuwon led the Rockets to their only championships during the 1990s. Olajuwon is on a short list of the best defenders in NBA history, and his low post scoring rivaled anyone else’s in league history. In our memories, he wears a Rockets jersey. Olajuwon played for the Toronto Raptors during his final NBA season. Although we would prefer to stay in our fantasy, reality calls.
The Dream had a somewhat unsuccessful season. His average of 7.1 points per game was a career low. Olajuwon was a shell of the man he had been at 39.
Raptors are not letting us forget. The group recently shared a purple, cursed photo of Olajuwon on social media. All humour aside, we have to give them credit for creating an excellent “troll”.
Assume it never happened. In either case, the Rockets should prioritise the here and now above the past. They have their eyes fixed forward. The big men that are now on this team are the organization’s main focus.

Despite being one of the NBA’s hardest men, he’s friendly. Right up until you step on one of Adams’ colleagues, he’s a kind giant. Even yet, he has never come across as a trash talker.
