After yet another disappointing season in Nashville, the Tennessee Titans used this offseason to add a tonne of quality to the mix.
This includes adding offensive players Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard, a running back. In addition, Tennessee acquired cornerback L’Jarius Sneed from the Kansas City Chiefs and signed former Pro Bowl safeties Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs.
The addition of former Washington fourth-round pick Saahdiq Charles to support the offensive line was an underappreciated move.
Charles, surprisingly, has decided not to participate for the club. The offensive lineman, 25, made his decision to retire publically, according to Tennessee.

Coach Brian Callahan just announced that the team is leaving the game for what he called personal reasons.
In the team’s initial summer depth chart, Charles was identified as Tennessee’s starting right guard. After starting 18 games in four seasons with Washington, including 10 in 2023, he inked a one-year contract this past spring.
The Titans may consider searching the NFL free agency market for more depth in light of Charles’ sudden retirement. Dillon Radunz will probably have the first opportunity to start for the time being.
The young LaChavious Simmons could also face competition from experienced Daniel Brunskill, who might go from centre to guard.
Considering that the Titans are counting on quarterback Will Levis to perform under centre in 2024, this is no little matter. Pressuring quarterbacks up the middle is a common problem for them. This is accentuated when discussing younger signal callers.
