SAD NEWS : Arrest Made In Southern California In Actor’s Death Investigation

Matthew Perry died due to the acute effects of ketamine, a medication with anaesthetic and hallucinogenic qualities. According to many media reports, an arrest has been made in Southern California in connection with the death of actor Matthew Perry, well known for his role as Chandler on the iconic television sitcom Friends. Perry died on October 28, 2023, at his home in Los Angeles. He was 54.

The actor was found face down at the heated end of his pool at Pacific Palisades. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that his death was caused by the acute effects of ketamine, an anaesthetic with hallucinogenic qualities.

According to Variety, drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine (a medication used to treat opioid use disorder) all contributed to Perry’s death. Perry had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy previous to his death, purportedly for depression and anxiety. Ketamine is illegally used as a recreational drug due to its numbing and hallucinogenic properties.

The autopsy report found no alcohol in his system. There were no signs of other

Drugs including cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.

Perry’s unexpected death has left his friends, family, and colleagues devastated.
