Wolves confident of beating Tottenham to “promising” Max Kilman replacement

Wolves have had a mixed window, losing Pedro Neto and Kilman while signing Jorgen Strand Larsen and youthful stars Pedro Lima and Rodrigo Gomes. With two weeks until the window closes, Gary O’Neil will be acutely conscious of the necessity to replace the top players who chose to go this summer.

On that front, those in the Midlands have already been linked with a number of prospective Neto heirs, ranging from Brentford’s Yoane Wissa to Barcelona’s Ansu Fati. At 18 years old, there’s no doubt that Meupiyou is a future player who will succeed Kilman in years to come, rather than just this season. Given Spurs’ alleged interest, signing the teenager would be a coup if Wolves could complete the deal within the next two weeks.

“Promising” Meupiyou is a long-term solution.
If Wolves can agree on a deal for Meupiyou, his role will be interesting to watch considering his age and potential. O’Neil, In contrast, given that the teenager made only one Ligue 1 appearance last season, the former Bournemouth manager may decide that Meupiyou must first prove himself in the academy.
