The 2024–2025 South Carolina Gamecocks Men’s Basketball non-conference schedule has been made public.
College basketball season is coming, even though most South Carolina and college fans are currently preoccupied with the beginning of the 2024 college football season. The Gamecocks’ non-conference schedule for upcoming season was officially announced. The team is coming off of a good campaign led by head coach Lamont Paris.
The Gamecocks had a 13-3 record in non-conference play the previous season. In the opening round of the March Madness tournament, they lost to Oregon. Paris has proven to be a tremendous asset to the team so far, both in terms of recruitment and when playing on the court. Big matchups against Xavier, Boston College, Indiana, and other opponents in the Fort Meyers tournament are scheduled for this season for the program.
The complete 2024–2025 men’s basketball non-conference schedule is as follows:
Nov. 4: North Florida vs. Home
Nov. 8: SC State vs. Home
November 12: Towson vs. Home
Nov. 16 Travelling to Indiana
November 21: Mercer vs. Home
Nov. 25: Fort Myers tip-off against Xavier at the neutral location
Nov. 27: Virginia Tech vs. Michigan at neutral site (Fort Myers tip-off)
Dec. 3: SEC/ACC Challenge away at Boston College
Dec. 7: East Carolina vs. Home
Dec. 14: USC Upstate at home
Dec. 17: Clemson at home
December 22: Radford vs. Home
December 30: Presbyterian vs. Home
