Bills superstar QB Josh Allen gives refreshing answer when asked if he thinks he’s underpaid on $258MILLION

Josh Allen, the Bills’ standout quarterback, has opened up about whether he believes he is underpaid in comparison to other top quarterbacks, prompting varied opinions on social media.

A videotape of the 28-year-old went viral on Wednesday after a reporter asked him during a news conference in Buffalo, ‘What do you think of all these men ahead of you?’

According to Sportrac data, Allen is the league’s 13th signal-caller with the highest average contract worth ($43,005,667), trailing only Patrick Mahomes ($45 million).

Joe Burrow, Jordan Love, and Trevor Lawrence are vying for the top spot on the list, with all three earning an average of $55 million per year.

‘Listen, everyone will have their day. I’m glad everyone is receiving what they’re worth. Right?’ Allen said initially in footage shared by WIVB on X. ‘I believe that as the game progresses and players continue to be paid, the market will remain the same… And I have no problem with where I am right now.

Allen signed a six-year, $258 million contract extension with the Bills in 2021. This autumn, his base pay will be around $8.6 million.

Allen’s contract might expire after the 2025 NFL season, potentially leaving the Bills with a $31.5 million dead cap.
