May I, through the Daily Echo’s columns, make additional comments on the reopening of the Waterside Railway Line, which was covered in your publication of Wednesday, July 17.This newly elected government intends to return rail services to public hands. This will halt the flow of earnings to foreign owners.

Residents are waiting to see if popular train line will reopen.
The same principle should apply to water businesses. As a result, there is no reason why the Waterside Railway Line, which connects the Waterside’s 70,000 residents to the rest of the UK’s train services, should not be reopened.
Not implementing this immediately, given the city’s severe traffic congestion and air pollution, would be an abuse of the affected population.
Now all that remains is to sweep the platforms, paint the stations, install ticket machines, turn on the lights, and everything will be operational.
