“I believe they were attempting to postpone until their final game on Friday night, which is the end of the year.”Next year, he won’t be with the football club. Vanished.

Eddie McGuire, a former president of the Magpies, called the report’s release “a historic and proud day” for the team.

After more than 20 years in leadership, McGuire resigned a week after making remarks that drew harsh criticism.

The Magpies gained more notoriety in 2022 when Heritier Lumumba, a premiership-winning player, cut all links with the team.

At the time, Lumumba claimed that “nothing has changed” in response to the club’s Do Better report on persistent claims of racism within the organisation.
