SAD NEWS : Buffalo Sabres Star Arrested for Criminal Trespass.

The Buffalo News reported on July 22 that forward Evander Kane of the Buffalo Sabres was placed under arrest for misdemeanour criminal trespass.

In connection with the June incident that allegedly happened at Buffalo’s Bottoms Up pub, Kane turned himself in to the police. In addition, four counts of harassment are being brought against the 24-year-old, according to WBEN NewsRadio 930AM.

According to Brian Mazurowski of WBEN, Kane entered a not guilty plea and is scheduled to appear in court again on September 9.

Kane has continued to act innocently.

On July 22, Paul J. Cambria, his attorney, informed Lou Michel, Jane Kwiatkowski Radlich, and Dan Herbeck of the Buffalo News that their client “plans, without a doubt, to defend himself against these charges.”

According to that report, “Police sources said that early that morning, Kane touched four persons at the bar—three ladies and the bouncer. While attempting to shove one of the women into his car, police claim that Kane pulled her hair and gripped her throat.”

According to the police complaint, Kane attempted to eject a woman from the bar by grabbing her arms and refusing to leave. It is also said that he attempted to provoke an altercation with the bouncer.

In response to Kane’s alleged harassment of the women mentioned in the police report, a source informed the Buffalo News, “The bouncer told him to knock it off.” “The bouncer could have crushed him if he had put his hands on him, but the guy didn’t want to hurt him.” Everything is recorded on tape.

When the lady Kane stayed the night with sought care at Erie County Medical Centre, an investigation was launched regarding a sexual encounter that occurred in December of 2015. Throughout the investigation, he was never accused of a crime.
