Kingston, Jamaica— Charlton Athletic FC, an English FA League One club, is likely to officially announce the signing of Jamaican winger Kaheim Dixon on Friday, according to reliable sources.

Dixon made a meteoric climb through the ISSA daCosta Cup schoolboy football competition, leading Clarendon College to the trophy. He also competed for the senior ReggaeBoyz team in FIFA World Cup qualifying and the Copa America competition.
