JUST IN : Leicester City ‘to go for’ £20m rated star once compared to Luka Modric

To replace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the attacking midfield position, Leicester City is pursuing a player.

The struggles the Foxes faced in trying to find a replacement for star player Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who left the team to reunite with Enzo Maresca at Chelsea, encapsulated their transfer window.

This summer, Wilfried Zaha, Matias Soule, Yaser Asprilla, and Adam Hlozek are just a few of the high-profile players Leicester City has targeted. However, all of these players have either been plucked from somewhere else or the Foxes have encountered difficulties in their negotiations.

Although progress has been made in other areas, such as the permanent signing of Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace, midfield additions are still a top priority for Steve Cooper’s team, who evidently lack a midfielder despite their best efforts to bring in players like Matt O’Riley from Celtic.

It appears that Leicester City has finally found an attacking midfield player this summer, despite their recent struggles, and it looks like a major coup for Cooper.

Leicester City is expected to make a bid of between £15 and £20 million, and they will likely be the front-runners to capture the young player after a number of other interested parties “were slowed down” by “the high demands” from El Khannouss’ parent club.

Due to his skill, the midfielder caused waves around Europe last season. HotspurHQ reports that he was even likened to Tottenham and Real Madrid great Luka Modric.
