BREAKING NEWS : Firefighters tackle car blaze on Maynard Road

A automobile was severely damaged as firemen used breathing apparatus to quell a fire in Totton. At 12.15pm today, the fire department responded to a car fire on Maynard Road in Totton, near the Asda Superstore.

Redbridge firefighters utilised breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the vehicle. The event caused around 50% damage to the car.

No one is believed to have been wounded.

A property on a major thoroughfare in Southampton that was damaged in a fire was recently sold at auction.

The youngsters were never located.

In March of this year, the property had a Southampton County Court notice on the door that read: “Claim form for possession of property.”

An auction sign was posted outdoors shortly after the notice was issued.

Today, the house is in ruins, with much of the roof missing after being destroyed by fire.

The sign in front of the property now says’sold’.

It is now unclear whether the new landowner intends to attempt to rebuild the substantially damaged home.
